Trump daughter Ivanka Trump on Thursday blasted “fake” media outlets for their coverage of her father, saying that “nobody believes anything they’re told.”
“It’s all fake news,” she said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” in response to a question about her father’s reaction to President Trump’s inauguration.
“I mean, that’s what they’re reporting and they’re not being told.
I mean, they’re being told things that are not true, which are not what they said, and that’s really disturbing.”
Trump, a former reality TV star, has used Twitter to lash out at the media since his election, labeling CNN “fake news” and claiming that the network is “being run by the Democrats.”
He has repeatedly slammed the media, including CNN, as biased and unfair, and has taken aim at outlets including Fox News, MSNBC and the Associated Press.
The president’s son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, also lashed out at outlets and outlets for reporting the president’s inauguration took place.
Kushner tweeted in early January that the media were “fabricating” the news.
The president has also attacked the media repeatedly on Twitter, calling CNN “Fake News,” The Associated Press “the enemy of the American People,” the New York Times “the most dishonest and corrupt organization in U.S. History,” and NBC “the greatest hoax in U,S.
Kushners son, Jared, has been under scrutiny for his role in a controversial plan to relocate the family’s business to the U.K.
The family’s proposed move to the English countryside could be delayed, however, due to a court order from the U,K.
The move is expected to be completed by June.
